I was awarded a three-year scholarship at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London, gaining a diploma in Performing Arts. As well as juggling a heavy training schedule I performed in numerous shows including ‘Top Cat’ at Wimbledon Theatre, pantomimes in Chesterfield and Lincoln as well as ‘A Shakespeare Tour’ and danced at the Royal Albert Hall.
After my graduation in 2006 I was offered a position with P&O’s luxury cruise-liner The Oriana where I played leading roles in the staggering seventeen shows.
I have shown a wealth of diversity by performing in shows such as ‘Las Vegas’ at the Birmingham NEC, ‘Mother Goose’ by Bruce James Productions and ‘Peter Pan’by Chris Mareno Productions. I was a regular performer at the exclusive London Hilton Hotel, I have featured in the Heart UK video and entertained football fans at Wembley Stadium. I also spent a Christmas season performing ‘Crazy Girls’ in a luxury hotel in Milan and I am now sailing the Asian seas on a Costa Cruise liner. Since late 2009 my image has been used all over London to promote West End Theatre Tokens. This was my first published modelling job which is a new skill added to my repertoire.
As a recently qualified teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing with an Honours award, I specialise in Street Jazz, Modern, Disco Freestyle, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Commercial Jazz and Salsa. Having been asked to produce educational materials for teachers of dance in schools, I have a demonstrated a respected and tested approach to teaching.
From learning what my personal attributes have succeeded thus far, I newly opened a business "Performing Sports" which is rapidly growing from strength to strength. It is an educational programme for school children which focuses on different areas of physical activities.
I am ready to excel at the next challenge in my life; education within dance. With my interest within the dance world so strong the next step should be to explore something I can use with the talents I've gained.
